Intro to Ski Mountaineering: Have you ever been at a ski resort and looked past the boundary signs and saw a mountain or a line that you wanted to explore? Maybe you have been on a few mellow ski tours and wanted to take it to the next range in the distance? Then this is the presentation for you! Multi-day winter trips or larger mountaineering objectives can become more accessible via skis and splitboards. Come join Jeremy and Kim Osburn as they breakdown ski mountaineering into the basics of necessary equipment and discuss some of the specialty gear items that they use to be successful during their remote ski tour trips within the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California.
