Thank you for your interest in an Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) guided hike.
Health insurance is required to participate in this program.
This program is a guided day hike to Seymour Mountain (elevation 4,120’, 14.4 miles round-trip with approximately 2,350’ of elevation gain). Please plan on meeting in the hamlet of Coreys at the intersection of Route 3 and Coreys Road by 7:30am. Please arrive packed and ready to hike. After caravanning to the trailhead, we’ll go through group introductions, a trip overview, and embark on our journey to this “trailless” summit. Along the way we’ll discuss safe off-trail travel and enjoy the rich natural history of the Adirondacks. The trip will be led by ADK’s Education Department staff.
Prior hiking experience is highly recommended. Good physical condition, proper clothing, and proper equipment are a must.
ADK members receive a 10% discount on programs and lodging. To reserve lodging at the Adirondak Loj, please call the Adirondack Mountain Club at (518) 523-3441 or book online.
If you have any questions about the program please contact Mary Glynn, ADK’s Outdoor Skills Coordinator, at (518) 523-3480 x 111 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to meeting you. Come prepared to learn and to have fun!
